So anyway...
If anyone in the Richmond area needs yard work (or if you know of someone who does), I'm willing to do it for very little money. Why? Because my parents might get off my back about getting a job if I'm making money doing something all day.

Well, that and I don't have any money.

Example: raking leaves for a large yard would cost, like, six bucks. Maybe five. Probably not more than six. Maybe not even five.

Rumor has it that this weekend is Homecoming at RHS. Who's going to participate in the festivities (or chaperone the yungins at the dance)? We're going to miss out on the festivities due to a psychotic week schedule. However, someone else should go and obsessively take pictures for storage on flickr. :)

Why hello!
Hello fellow Richmondites. So, I grew up in this town and I'm back now to raise a family. I may have lived here a long time but I'm constantly bothered by one question: what the hell is fun around here once the sun sets? So that's the question I pose to you, provided you're still here. What are you doing after hours to keep sane in this exciting town :)

blog reading
So I wrote that story for the Palladium-Item on sites that local people use to blog. I really didn't get a whole lot of response, from people when I asked for their opinion, so I figured I would try something different.

If you have a blog here, on myspace, or another site that you update at least every once in awhile, and would like more people to read it, get in touch with me. I'm trying to put together a list of local bloggers.

You can get in touch with me through here, or hmarsh@pal-item.com.

Harmony Marsh

P.S. If you guys could forward this to anyone else you think might be interested, I would really appreciate it.

What's Happening?
I don't know if anyone still bothers coming here, but I'll post this here anyway.

My name is Harmony Marsh, and I'm the online reporter for the Palladium-Item (or I will be starting August 23). A lot of what I'll be doing will revolve around reporting on things that are event and youth driven. Concerts, parties, whatever is happening. In fact, that's what they're calling it: What's Happening. The problem with this is, I've been pretty much out of Richmond's loop for a year, and since I've been spending so much time working, I haven't really been able to get back into it.

So here's the call I'm sending out -- If you think you know what's happening, let me know!! Post it here, or email it to me at work at hmarsh@pal-item.com, or call it to my desk phone at 973-4461. I can't promise that everything will get covered (the final decisions aren't up to me), but if you don't tell me anything, then your chances of coverage become even less.

So, thanks for reading. Here's hoping I hear from you soon!

I, Stephen W. Homer, am making a terrible zombie flick. I'm still writing the script, but you can read what most of what I have done at lowbudgetdead. If you have a digital camcorder or you know someone who has one, I would greatly appreciate being able to use it, or better yet, having the owner operate it!

So, I'll say it again:

Go to lowbudgetdead to stay up-to-date, or contact me (use the e-mail in my user info).

Music! I need more! More music I say!!!
Talented local musician looking for band to play original music in (no cover bands)

I can play guitar and bass very well, and I can play decent drums. I own all of my own equipment (guitars, bass, amps, drums) and I have access to a nice PA system.

If interested, drop a comment in my journal. Dedicated people only please.

Presenting: "The Owl and the Pussycat"
A traditional pantomime for the whole family written by Richmond resident Graham Cooper, and based on the nonsense poetry of Edward Lear.

The show will feature the members of Zeitgeist Theatre Co. from Richmond, IN, as well as several drama students from IU East. The show appeals to audiences young and old, so bring the kids!
